Stockholm is a village of over 300 people strategically located at the junction of Highway 9 and Highway 22, approximately 70 km south of Yorkton in east central Saskatchewan, .  It is located in a grain and livestock producing area, north of the scenic Qu'Appelle Valley.

Agriculture, two Potash mines in the area, a Highway Maintenance centre, as well as several local industries,  provide employment for many local residents.

Stockholm has a modern Kindergarten to Grade 9 school, a public library, a community hall, a senior's housing complex, a skating rink, and well maintained ball diamonds.  Other recreational activities available in our area include water sports, fishing, hunting, skiing and golf.

We are served by a fully equipped and trained Fire Department and First Responders.

Stockholm offers residential lots for sale as low as ten dollars, and will give tax incentives for new residential development  or for new business or small industry that wish to locate to our community.
